Join us as a Scrum Master

We’re looking for an experienced Scrum Master to drive a culture of continuous improvement.

You’ll make sure that your team lives by the values of Scrum, empowering them to become high performing to increase the productivity, transparency, frequency, and quality of delivery.

Hone your project skills as you work with talented people in a collaborative and innovative environment, with access to the bank's Agile community, experts, and events.


What you'll do

This role involves coaching and guiding your team to perform at their highest level and at a sustainable pace. You’ll remove impediments, facilitate meetings, protect the team from outside influences, and collaborate with the product owner to ensure the backlog is well-maintained and ready for the next sprint.

You’ll ensure your team understands Agile practices, the Scrum framework, and its values, enabling them to deliver working software that meets customer needs quickly. Your goal is to transform your team into a self-organising unit with a high level of Agile maturity.

Your responsibilities include:

* Acting as the process owner for the team and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
* Building a trusting environment where problems can be raised without fear
* Facilitating discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution
* Encouraging communication within and outside the team to promote transparency


The skills you'll need

We seek someone with successful Scrum adoption experience, along with a Scrum Master or relevant SAFe certification. Knowledge of modern development practices such as extreme programming, test-driven development, and continuous integration is essential.

You should also have experience in servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency.

We expect you to demonstrate:

* A strong understanding of the Agile manifesto and experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies
* Experience in changing organizational, team, or departmental mindsets and cultures
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
* Experience or knowledge of the Commercial Lending domain
* Experience with multi-faceted programs, attention to detail, and organizational skills
* Knowledge of empirical process control
* Familiarity with automated testing frameworks
