Our client is a leading Defence business. They are recruiting a senior commercial manager to be the commercial lead on a high-profile major programme.
Role
* Experienced senior commercial manager on a major in-life programme.
* Managing the commercial delivery of a large contract, managing customer relationships as well as working closely with operations and account management colleagues.
* Negotiation of new business, subject to single source regulations.
* Commercial lead with a small team of 1-2 commercial managers, reporting to the Business Unit Commercial Director.
Experience
* You will have a mix of pre and post contract experience at the Senior Commercial Manager level.
* Experience of working for a Defence company on a major programme is highly desirable.
* You will ideally have existing SC clearance that can be transferred, or no issues with being granted SC clearance.
Location and Travel
* Flexible working with anticipated travel of 1 day per month to the Bristol office after the first few weeks.
Salary
* Up to £80K + car + bonus + benefits
