Overview

Demand planning and forecasting for customer-by-customer, bottom-up forecasting using internal insights and external market data (including weather and industry trends). Own and enhance demand planning processes to support profitability, commercial strategy, and operational efficiency. Partner closely with operations, fulfilment, and commercial transformation teams to improve forecasting accuracy (targeting 98%) and service levels. Guide the prioritisation of customer deliveries based on value, logistics constraints, and profitability. Lead initiatives around customer master data accuracy and customer creation processes, working closely with sales, engineering, and finance. Embed forecasting tools and insights within SalesForce CRM and other business systems. Contribute to S&OP strategy and engage directly with board members on planning and performance reviews.


What We\u2019re Looking For

Experience in a demand planning or supply chain environment, with a strong understanding of S&OP. Excellent analytical skills with experience handling large data sets and developing demand forecasting models. Commercial acumen and ability to translate data into actionable business and financial insights. Strong influencing and communication skills to drive collaboration across all levels. Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives (with or without direct line management). Experience in operational planning and understanding logistical sensitivities.

About the role

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for data-led decision making and operational excellence? Calor is looking for a Demand Manager to lead and enhance our demand planning capability across short, medium, and long-term horizons. This is a pivotal role, sitting at the heart of our Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) process. You\u2019ll play a key role in forecasting volume, margin, and creation performance, ensuring we\u2019re always one step ahead in meeting customer needs and delivering business value. With hybrid working from our Warwick HQ, you\u2019ll collaborate across commercial, finance, and operational teams - from board-level leaders to frontline sales and logistics colleagues. You\u2019ll also lead one direct report (Demand Planning Analyst) and influence a wide network across the organisation.


What You\u2019ll Be Doing

Lead and execute short-, mid-, and long-term forecasting for volume, creation, and margin performance.
