While our office is based in Blackburn, our projects span the entire UK — meaning we can flexible on where you're based. If you're the right fit, location won't necessarily hold you back.
Responsibilities
* Lead the installation, commissioning and optimisation of advanced PAVA and audio systems.
* Provide expert-level fault diagnosis and resolution across a wide range of platforms and technologies.
* Act as a technical lead on projects, ensuring compliance with EN54, BS5839-8, and other relevant standards.
* Conduct acoustic modelling and system tuning to ensure optimal performance and intelligibility.
* Mentor and train junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and consistency.
* Collaborate with project managers, clients, and design teams to deliver tailored audio solutions.
* Produce and review detailed technical documentation, including commissioning reports and service records.
Experience
* Extensive experience with PAVA systems (e.g., Bosch, ASL, Baldwin Boxall, etc.).
* Advanced knowledge of audio engineering principles, acoustic modelling principles, and system calibration.
* Strong understanding of IP-based audio systems, networking protocols, and system integration.
* Proven leadership in managing complex installations and technical teams.
* Ability to interpret and help produce technical drawings, wiring schematics, and system documentation.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
* ECS/CSCS card or equivalent.
Desirable Experience
* Manufacturer certifications (Bosch, ASL, Baldwin Boxall, etc.).
* AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, or similar audio/AV industry certifications.
* SSSTS/SMSTS, IPAF, PASMA.
* Knowledge of EN54 standards and relevant British Standards compliance.
