Customer Service Assistant (Export)

Logistics Manager
* Key Focus:
Delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Order Processing:
* Handle customer orders from receipt to dispatch.
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of export documentation.
* Coordinate with internal departments to meet customer requirements.
* Customer Communication:
* Serve as a point of contact for export customers.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
* Provide regular updates on order status and shipping details.
* Documentation and Compliance:
* Assist in the preparation and verification of export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
* Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and export laws.
* Maintain accurate records of all export transactions.
* Logistics Coordination:
* Liaise with freight forwarders and shipping agents to arrange transportation.
* Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers.
* Resolve any logistical issues that may arise during the shipping process.
* Administrative Support:
* Answering and directing calls
* Assist with general office tasks, including filing, data entry, and report generation.
* Support the Logistics Manager and other team members as needed.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in customer service or export logistics preferred.
* GCSE in English and math at Grade C/4 or above
; additional qualifications in logistics or international trade are a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and resolve issues efficiently.
* Collaborative and able to work well in a team environment.
