Qualified TA – Autism & Communication Support (Full Time) Location: South Tyneside Contract: Full time, long term Start: ASAP Pay: £89 to £110 per day (PAYE) This specialist autism provision is looking for a qualified TA with a gentle, structured and communication-focused approach. You’ll join a team who care deeply and celebrate progress in every form. Your daily role will include: Supporting pupils with communication needs, sensory profiles and anxiety Using visuals, structured tasks and predictable routines Helping pupils navigate transitions and new experiences Working 1:1 and in small groups Contributing to personalised learning plans and safe learning environments Ideal for someone who: Holds a Level 2/3 TA qualification Has experience within autism or specialist settings Is patient, adaptable and great at building trust Drives and can travel easily across South Tyneside With Protocol you’ll receive: Weekly PAYE pay Free SEND and Thrive CPD A consultant who supports your journey fully If helping pupils feel calm, confident and understood is your thing, this role will feel incredibly rewarding.
