Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Repairs Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting residents, booking in repairs, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to meet deadlines and optimise workflow.
Duties
* Develop and maintain repair schedules, ensuring all job matching from operatives to repairs.
* Coordinate with Site Managers, and operatives to allocate resources effectively and manage workloads.
* Supervise daily repairs, by telephone calls, emails and messaging services.
* Utilise programmable excel and job management systems.
* Accessing and updating job portals for housing associations.
* Monitor repair progress, identifying any potential issues and communicating with clients promptly.
* Maintain accurate records of schedules, changes, and updates for future reference.
* Communicate effectively in English with all stakeholders to ensure clarity and understanding of repairs timelines.
Skills
* Proven repairs scheduling experience with a focus on project management methodologies.
* Able to work independently and able to work well within a small team.
* Repairs knowledge is essential for understanding installation and processes involved in scheduling tasks. (Training will however be provided)
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
