From 6 April 2026, HMRCs new labour supply chain rules introduce joint and several liability for PAYE income tax (and related obligations) in certain labour supply chains, making robust compliance and assurance more important than ever. The opportunity We are expanding our dedicated compliance capability and are looking for a hands-on, practical Compliance Manager to help strengthen assurance across agencies on client-approved labour supply panels. This role is focused on coordinating day-to-day compliance activity: organising evidence, keeping records audit-ready, driving actions to completion, and supporting clear, timely reporting. We offer hybrid working. What you will be doing Coordinate agency due diligence and ongoing checks, supporting onboarding and periodic reviews and maintaining an up-to-date evidence library with version control and review dates. Track compliance status and follow-ups, managing outstanding actions, remediation deadlines, and escalation where required, supported by a clear risk and exceptions log. Support practical controls and audit readiness, helping ensure Neuvens processes and records demonstrate agencies PAYE responsibilities, and preparing evidence packs for audits and spot checks. Be a confident point of contact, responding to practical compliance queries (and routing technical/legal queries to Legal Counsel), and keeping communications professional and well documented. Produce compliance updates and MI, maintaining accurate audit trails and suggesting practical improvements to reduce delays and improve data quality. About You Essential: Experience in compliance, operations, payroll administration, recruitment compliance, or supplier management. A practical understanding of UK payroll basics (PAYE and RTI concepts) and the importance of evidencing controls. Strong organisation, follow-through, and record-keeping skills, with confidence chasing actions firmly but professionally. Desirable: Experience working with recruitment agencies or contingent labour supply chains. Familiarity with compliance evidence requests and audit/assurance support. Experience producing simple MI dashboards or reports (Excel or similar). How you work You are proactive, calm, solutions-focused, and comfortable owning a busy to-do list.
