Brings an interest in equitable education and is motivated by our mission to achieve fairer school admissions and inclusive schools. Is organised, reliable, and comfortable preparing straightforward accounts and reporting to a small committee. Is willing to play an active role on our Steering Group, contributing to discussions and helping shape the direction of our work.
What will you be doing?
We are looking for a volunteer Treasurer to handle our day-to-day finances and play an active part in guiding our work. The role mainly involves managing online banking, keeping simple records of income and expenditure, and preparing annual accounts. As Treasurer you will also join our Steering Group, which meets every 6–8 weeks (usually online) to set the direction of Comprehensive Future's campaigning. You'll be part of the small strategy team leading the organisation and helping shape our priorities. The key deliverable is to keep our finances accurate and transparent so that our campaigning for fair school admissions can run smoothly. This role is light-touch and flexible, usually just a couple of hours a month. We're also happy to adapt how we work to fit the volunteer's preferences.
