Availability Window - Days and times vary by the week. Mon 13:00-21:00; Tue 09:00-17:00; Wed 13:00-21:00; Fri 09:00-17:00; Sat 09:00-16:00.
Pay - Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.87 an hour; this increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
Availability and scheduling
The weekly availability windows indicate the times we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and provide 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility if your available times closely match but do not exactly align with what is advertised. Read more in the policy (readability text removed).
What it’s like to work here

You will have opportunities to help customers with new medicines, provide vaccinations, review medicine use, and check blood pressure or blood glucose levels, contributing to community healthcare.
You will work with experienced Pharmacists and managers and receive local management and leadership support in your store. Our management team comes from diverse backgrounds, offering continual opportunities to learn.
Role purpose
We are looking for talented and driven Pharmacy professionals who can deliver the highest quality healthcare service to customers. In return, we provide a supportive team, detailed industry training, and a varied working environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the operation of one of our modern Pharmacies.
* Applying technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication for customers.
* Dispensing prescription medicines with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Talking to customers in a confident, friendly and professional manner and providing excellent service.
* Offering information to customers on common ailments, symptoms and products.
* Understanding customer needs and explaining product benefits clearly; only recommending appropriate products.
* Advising customers on the range of Pharmacy services available.
* Supporting and delivering Pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
* Handling clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners within area of competence.
* Responding to customer queries regarding prescription medicines and informing the Pharmacist of any complaints.
* Ensuring dispensary routines and Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
* Keeping dispensary and consulting rooms clean, tidy and free of clutter.
* Ensuring prescription administration is accurate and completed on time.
* Carrying out promotional activities and implementing company initiatives within the team.
* Carrying out procedures accurately to protect profit and ensure safe and legal trading.
* Completing corporate and departmental training.
* Keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
You will need
* Qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
