B2 Licensed Avionics Engineer typed rated on AW109/AW169Location: NorthamptonEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified B2 Licensed Avionics Engineer to join a well-established and expanding maintenance operation based in Northampton. This site serves as the central hub for heavy maintenance activities, supporting a diverse fleet of VIP and Air Ambulance aircraft, including AW109 and AW169 variants, both at base and nearby line stations.As part of a collaborative engineering team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining aircraft to the highest standards, ensuring continued airworthiness and compliance with all regulatory and customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine, unscheduled, and modification maintenance on aircraft.Carry out line maintenance, AOG support, and defect rectification tasks as required.Promote a strong safety culture and uphold quality standards within the engineering team.Requirements:Valid UK CAA Part 66 B2 Licence.Proven experience with avionics systems in either rotary-wing or fixed-wing aircraft.Full UK driving licence.Benefits:Competitive salary package.Overtime opportunities.Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00.20 days annual leave plus eight public holidays.Additional three days' leave during the Christmas period.Private medical insurance.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced avionics professional looking to grow within a dynamic and forward-thinking maintenance environment.To register your interest please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
