About the role
Are you passionate about delivering high-impact events that build brands, drive engagement, and generate leads? Join us as a Seminar and Events Consultant, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our Financial Services (FS) seminar and event strategy.
Working closely with the FS Marketing Campaigns Manager, you'll develop, execute, and optimise a dynamic calendar of seminars and events designed to elevate brand awareness, drive customer consideration, and create a robust pipeline for our FS business. Your strategic planning and flawless execution will ensure that each event, whether centrally or locally managed, delivers maximum ROI, meets high standards, and strengthens NFU Mutual's market presence.
You’ll own the multichannel communications plan, ensuring pre-event promotions, event-day materials, and post-event follow-ups are impactful, consistent, and aligned with our marketing standards. You’ll collaborate with Financial Services Sales Managers, Advisers, marketing, technical, and compliance teams, and the wider agency network to ensure seamless event delivery. Acting as the main contact for our agency network, you’ll support local seminars while continuously seeking new ideas and opportunities. You’ll monitor performance, gather insights, and make data-driven recommendations to refine future plans. From briefing external suppliers to researching new event formats and developing test-and-learn initiatives, you’ll drive continuous improvement to ensure our events stand out, inspire, and deliver tangible results.

You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating memorable event experiences. With proven success in planning both in-person and virtual events, you know how to engage and inspire audiences. You thrive in environments requiring accountability and attention to detail, ensuring meticulous planning and flawless execution. Your stakeholder engagement and project management skills enable you to prioritize, multitask, and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. Self-motivated and proactive, you’re always seeking opportunities to improve and innovate. You’re confident working with creative agencies and third-party suppliers, briefing partners effectively to bring ideas to life and ensure seamless delivery.
