As a Deputy Service Manager at Hft, you'll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible. As the Deputy Service Manager, you will support the CQC registered manager to oversee a residential service providing the regulated activity of personal care to individuals in Kingston.

About the role:
Alongside the Service Manager, you are responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and providing high standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, promoting independence and choice. You will support the Service Manager in managing and ensuring the delivery of quality and safety priorities, with delegated responsibility for daily operations and supervising support workers. As a senior team member, you will promote good practice, ensuring safety and satisfaction for the people supported.
A full UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle, is preferred for the role.
About you:
* You will have significant, recent management experience in learning disabilities services, possibly including being a Registered Manager.
* You will have knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to adults with learning disabilities, CQC regulations, and health and safety.
* You need good IT skills and experience of record-keeping.
* You need to hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or a Level 3 diploma with willingness to undertake Level 5 within 18 months.
* You will have leadership skills, able to manage and motivate people, and act as a role model.
