Caledonian is looking for exceptional individuals aspiring to excel in the hospitality industry, operating all year-round.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in managing the day-to-day tasks of the kitchen.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
* Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations in the kitchen.
* In the absence of the Head Chef, collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
* Assist the Head Chef in managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
* Support the Head Chef in training and developing the kitchen team to achieve high standards of product quality and presentation.
* Manage staff rotas in the absence of the Head Chef to service the business efficiently and keep labour costs within budgeted targets.
About you
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* A positive, can-do attitude.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with colleagues and customers.
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
* Flexible with shift patterns.
