Junior Site Reliability Engineer (AWS)

Ocho are searching for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer with a passion for AWS and automation. This is the perfect role for someone with around 2 years' experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure who's ready to learn from experienced engineers, sharpen their skills, and work on projects that really make an impact.
Day to day:
* Help build and maintain secure, scalable AWS environments.
* Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible) to automate deployments.
* Assist in setting up monitoring and alerting with CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
* Support incident response and troubleshooting (with guidance from senior team members).
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
* Learn and apply AWS security and IAM best practices.
* Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and security teams to keep systems reliable and fast.
Experience:
* Around 2 years' experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud, or Infrastructure roles.
* Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, etc.).
* Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
* Some scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
* Understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security principles.
* Curiosity, a problem-solving mindset, and great communication skills.
