Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Contract Outside IR35 GBPneg 6 months
Fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join an award–winning design consultancy with a successful track record for providing MEP engineering on a contract basis for 6 months.
Due to an increasing workload, we are actively seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their design team working on commercial fit out projects.
The role
* Assisting in developing detailed designs in line with the client brief
* Conducting mechanical design services calculations
* Assisting in the production of mechanical services specifications and schedules
* Conducting feasibility studies
* Providing technical support and advice
* Provide statements and/or reports when needed
Essential Requirements
* Dynamic individuals with a strong HVAC background
* First–rate communication skills
* Knowledge of existing standards and ability to develop requirements for new building service projects
* Previous experience working on commercial fit out projects
* Experience doing site surveys, heat calculations, steam and ventilation systems design
* Working knowledge of technical software including Hevacomp
* Excellent time management skills
* Drive and determination
* Good supervisory qualities and experience
* Highly motivated with the drive to take on new challenges
