Youth Worker in Schools
Do you have the passion and resilience to support children and young people facing emotional and behavioural challenges? Are you experienced in working with students with SEMH needs? Can you connect with, motivate, and positively influence young people?
The RoleWe're looking for a dedicated Youth Worker in Schools to support children across South Staffordshire. This is a varied and rewarding role, blending the responsibilities of a classroom teaching assistant with those of a pastoral youth mentor.
You'll work closely with students who have experienced trauma or who are navigating social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Your role will be to help them manage their emotions, develop coping strategies, engage with their learning, and feel safe and supported throughout the school day.

You will be...Experienced in working with young people with SEMH, autism, ADHD, or additional needsSkilled at building trust and maintaining focus through strong communication and relational skillsCommitted to promoting positivity, self-belief, and emotional wellbeing in the young people you support
