The Role
* Preparing tools, machinery, and materials for practical DT lessons
* Maintaining workshop equipment and ensuring machinery is serviced appropriately
* Supporting teachers and pupils during practical sessions
* Managing stock control, materials ordering, and resource organisation
* Ensuring strict compliance with workshop health & safety regulations
* Maintaining risk assessments and safety documentation
* Assisting with GCSE and A Level NEA preparation
* Supporting the overall organisation and efficiency of the department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Previous experience in a workshop, technical, or school-based role
* Strong practical skills and understanding of workshop machinery
* Knowledge of health & safety compliance within practical environments
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* The ability to work independently and proactively
* Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
