Key Responsibilities Take full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and achieving high standards. Lead and develop a dedicated care team to deliver exceptional, child-centred, trauma-informed support. Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, external stakeholders, and clinical professionals. Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and risk management processes to ensure the safety and well-being of young people. Contribute to the therapeutic ethos of the service, working alongside a clinician to integrate therapeutic input into care delivery. Drive service development, fostering a positive and inclusive culture from the ground up. Support the home's registration process and prepare for Ofsted inspections. Candidate Requirements Essential : Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up in a children's residential setting. Essential : Strong understanding of Ofsted frameworks, children's residential regulations, and safeguarding procedures. Essential : Commitment to trauma-informed, therapeutic care for young people with EBD. Passionate about building and leading a high-performing team and establishing a positive culture. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with young people, staff, and external partners. Proactive, autonomous, and driven to achieve outstanding outcomes for children.
