Base pay range
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
* Routine PPM visits and reactive repairs to electrical services assets (Internal, External and Emergency Lighting, Distribution Boards) and carrying out meter readings.
* Weekly sprinkler system bell testing. Daily/Weekly inspections of Plant Rooms, Switchrooms, Roof Areas and Car Parks.
* Plant room status and cleanliness checks.
* Accompanying sub‑contractors around site for PPM/reactive works, when instructed to do so.
* Operate a tablet device in conjunction with ECG’s CAFM system ensuring all PPM and reactive tasks are completed time‑together.
* Develop positive working relationships with all stakeholders to enhance the professional reputation of ECG, whilst protecting the client’s brand.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Operations Director, Technical Services Manager, Compliance Team and Security Team.
Skills And Qualifications Required
* Experience operating in the private FM sector.
* Solid understanding of SFG20 service specification.
* Excellent customer communication skills.
* Self‑starter, able to work on own initiative as a conscientious team player.
* Organised communicator with strong inter‑personal skills.
* High level of verbal, written and numeric skills.
* To be highly flexible in accordance with the challenging demands of a “World‑Class” retail and leisure destination.
* Retail Destination / Shopping Centre experience (desirable)

Qualifications
* City and Guilds/NVQ/SVQ: Level II/III – 18th Edition Electrical Installations 2382 (BS7671)
* Inspection and Testing 2391-52 (desirable)
