Role summary
We are recruiting for a dynamic and dedicated Humanities teacher to join the thriving department in October 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic and personal development of the students in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in History, Geography, or RE, depending on their specialism. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Responsibilities
* Teach Humanities subjects to Key Stage 3 and 4 students (and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on your specialism).
* Foster a positive learning environment that inspires curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
* Contribute to the development of the curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
* Support students in reaching their full potential, both academically and personally.
What we're looking for
* A qualified teacher with a degree in a Humanities subject (History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a related field).
* A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* A commitment to the highest standards of teaching and learning.
* Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus but not essential).
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
