Conveyancing Assistant – Brighouse
Location: Brighouse, West Yorkshire (FT, office-based)
Salary: £23,000 – £28,000 DOE + benefits
Experience: Minimum 3 years in a residential conveyancing support role
An established and friendly law firm in Brighouse is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to support its Residential Property department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least a year’s experience in conveyancing who is looking to develop their skills further in a supportive, close-knit team environment.
The Role:
* Supporting a busy and experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner with a caseload of residential property matters
* Preparing contract packs, conducting ID and AML checks, and dealing with post-completion tasks including SDLT and Land Registry applications
* Handling client queries via phone and email in a professional and friendly manner
* Managing and updating case management systems
* Assisting with file opening, closing and compliance checks
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years experience in a residential conveyancing support role
* Understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Good written and verbal communication
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
