Hours: Permanent, Monday-Friday (36.5 hours per week)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced trust tax and accounts administrator to support our Inheritance Tax, Trusts, and Estates Team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Preparing trust, estate, and possibly some personal tax returns,
* Preparing trust and estate accounts,
* Calculating tax liabilities,
* Corresponding with colleagues, clients, and third parties, to obtain information and notify of liabilities, etc.
* Assisting with trust registrations and ongoing compliance requirements,
* Providing support with tax planning work, including note taking at meetings,
* Coordinating HMRC correspondence and queries,
* Managing deadlines, filings, and compliance calendars,
* Supporting the onboarding of new clients, including AML checks
Essential skills and experience:
* Proven experience in preparing trust and estate tax returns (and ideally accounts), either with HMRC or in a tax advisory or accountancy/legal practice environment,
* Strong understanding of UK tax compliance around trusts,
* Good working knowledge of Iris tax software would be an advantage,
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills,
* Ability to work independently,
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
