An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator within the windows and doors sector. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering accurate, high-quality quotations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare accurate and timely quotations for windows, doors, and related glazing products
2. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents
3. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate project costing
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pricing, materials, and product ranges
5. Support the sales and production teams with pricing and technical queries
6. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of estimating systems and processes
Requirements:
7. Proven experience as an Estimator within the windows, doors, or glazing industry
8. Strong understanding of uPVC, aluminium, and/or composite systems
9. Excellent numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail
10. Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
11. Strong communication and organisational skills
12. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
