Job Description Job Title: Project Controller - Submarines Working Pattern: 37 hours Working location: Bristol – with some travel to Derby and Barrow. Rolls-Royce Submarines is proud to be part of The Dreadnought Alliance that was formed in 2018 along with the MoD and BAE Systems. The Alliance's mission is to deliver four Dreadnought submarines for £31 billion, with the first one ready for patrol in the 2030s. There is currently an exciting opportunity for a Project Controller to join our team. In this varied role you will project managing the permissioning and contracting of the funding secured by the Alliance to deliver the Dreadnought Class of Nuclear-powered, deterrent carrying submarines. What you will be doing: Support the delivery of the Delivery Phase 4 approval campaign Project managing route to contract plans, including required approvals. Responsible for building effective working relationships with industrial partners, Alliance functions and DNO & SDA stakeholders. Engages with subject matter experts to bring their advice and expertise into joint workstreams, coordinating resources to best effect. Provides written and verbal briefings to stakeholders on Dreadnought Commitments and DP4 Campaign progress. Develops contract artefacts including Change Requests, AEDs, MDAL, Risk Register, Scope Description Who we’re looking for: At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
