About the Role
We have a strong reputation for working with major UK retail clients, providing cost management, project management, and sustainability consulting.
We seek a Quantity Surveyor capable of managing client-facing roles and a portfolio of retail projects. Experience with pre and post contract duties and confidence in cost management tasks are essential.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Work with surveyors and project managers, reporting to the Director, providing cost consulting to clients.
* Ensure client objectives through proactive cost control and contractual advice.
* Attend and lead meetings with clients.
* Prepare financial reports and project status updates.
* Develop tender documentation and advise on procurement, costs, and schedules.
* Manage contract documents and prepare management reports.
* Monitor project milestones, administer variations, and handle post-contract duties.
* Manage projects’ cost from estimation to final accounts.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
* A relevant degree in quantity surveying or similar.
* Experience in retail or fast-paced refurbishment projects is advantageous.
* Ability to independently perform pre and post contract duties.
* Effective communication skills with clients.
* Experience with CostX software is a plus; knowledge of JCT contracts is desirable.
* Experience in tendering and procurement processes.
* Full UK Driving License required; travel to sites will be necessary, with a car allowance provided.
