Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide tailored assistance.
* Demonstrate product knowledge and engage customers in conversation to promote sales.
* Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting additional items that complement their purchases.
* Maintain an organised sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
* Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring basic maths skills are applied for cash handling.
* Respond to customer inquiries over the phone with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance store performance.
* Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the store environment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
* Bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
