We are seeking an ambitious sales leader with a proven track record in team management, account management, and selling complex IT solutions into large enterprises. The successful candidate will serve as a Principal Account Manager for an existing strategic UK enterprise customer, focusing on relationship management and partnership growth, driving digital transformation through engagements with C-level executives and business leaders. This role involves representing AWS’s full portfolio across top commercial organizations in the UK and overseeing supporting teams.
Amazon Global Sales (AGS) is responsible for driving revenue and growth from the UK's largest enterprise customers, developing industry market strategies, and coordinating with AWS partner and industry teams.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Driving AWS business growth within a defined territory.
2. Building relationships with stakeholders to promote AWS adoption.
3. Accelerating customer adoption through strategic sales and go-to-market activities.
4. Ensuring a customer-focused approach that fosters innovation and transformation.
5. Meeting quantitative and qualitative goals.
6. Developing partnerships to extend AWS reach.
7. Providing a superior customer experience.

Basic qualifications:
* Extensive experience in quota-carrying technology sales, with success selling complex cloud solutions to large enterprises.
* Proven ability to increase technology adoption and develop transformational account strategies.
* Experience working with and earning the trust of C-level executives.
* Success in closing large-scale technology projects with new enterprise customers.
* Ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Preferred qualifications:
* Self-starter with ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
* Experience in sectors such as Travel & Hospitality, Manufacturing & Automotive, or Life Sciences.
* Ability to succeed in ambiguous environments and drive customer outcomes.
