Job Description:
A leading and award-winning player in print and packaging is looking to appoint a highly experienced Production Director to set and communicate goals, create and improve structure and processes, and facilitate the day-to-day running to ensure productivity. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about removing obstacles, solving problems, and ensuring tasks are completed effectively.
Taking control of the production facility, you will have direct responsibility for the workforce. We seek someone with experience leading teams in a senior managerial role within a company providing print or packaging services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and managerial skills to gain respect and establish authority on site. We want a motivating leader who can foster cooperation and employee development.
A strong working knowledge of lean/six sigma processes and experience in developing, leading, and implementing manufacturing optimisation projects are critical for this role. Your responsibilities will include employing tools and managing activities for continuous improvement, performance enhancement, and achieving business objectives.
