ROLE: Diagnostic Technician LOCATION: Hatfield SALARY: 40k basic, 50k ote company benefits HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 – 5.00 We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician to join our client’s reputable dealership in the Hatfield vicinity. To be considered this Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician role: • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician • NVQ Level 3 or have a minimum of 4 years continuous experience • Have up to date knowledge of Diagnostic systems • Preferably but not essentially, be EV/hybrid vehicle qualified • You will need to hold a full valid UK driving license • Preferably but not essentially, with a current MOT tester qualification • Be able to understand vehicle wiring diagrams. • Be able to diagnose both electrical and mechanical faults Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician : • Diagnose complex systems and perform routine service and repairs across our vehicle range. • Ensure every repair is a quality, first-time fix to provide an outstanding customer experience. • Communicate with customers to understand their issues and provide clear resolutions. • Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues and opportunities.
