Offer description

Want to be part of a UK hub, in a global business that is scaling rapidly, evolving fast and radically changing the decades old delivery universe? If so, read on, as we’re looking for a Regional Operations Manager to join our team!

We’re leading the logistics revolution, powering deliveries across the UK for some of the nation’s biggest high-street and online brands. Our depots are the backbone of our operation, ensuring seamless logistics and top-notch service for our customers. Whether you’re handling parcels, coordinating routes, or managing depot operations, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards and efficiency.

As our network grows at lightning speed, so do the opportunities within it. This is your chance to be part of something big, where every day is fast-paced, impactful, and full of possibilities.

About the role:

As the Regional Operations Manager, you’ll be the go-to partner to the Regional Director—powering performance and delivery excellence across our Out of Home (OOH), To-Door, and PUDO networks, plus our nationwide newspaper and magazine distribution.

Lead the charge at our Depots and Hubs, ensuring smooth operations, lightning-fast turnarounds, and customer-obsessed service. This is your chance to shape the future of parcel logistics across an entire region, with the backing of InPost's smart tech and unstoppable growth.

You’ll help us deliver excellence across depots, manage key customer relationships, boost performance through data and innovation, and bring operational change to life—fast. From leading health & safety compliance to optimizing budgets and driving commercial success, you’ll be a hands-on force for operational brilliance.

Think: project management with purpose, leadership that energizes, and logistics that never stop evolving.

What you’ll own:

* Driving performance across regional hubs and depots
* Supporting major logistics, delivery and service operations
* Partnering on commercial success and SLA delivery
* Leading change, people, compliance, and continuous improvement
* Championing a safe, scalable and customer-first culture
* Playing a key role in InPost’s bold growth journey
* This is more than operations—it’s making modern delivery smarter, greener, and faster. Ready to deliver?

What we need from you:

✅Logistics & Operations Expertise

Proven experience in multi-site logistics, supply chain, or parcel delivery operations (ideally in fast-paced, high-volume environments).

Solid understanding of final mile, trunking, and locker/PUDO networks.

Background in managing performance KPIs, service levels, and operational improvements across depots or hubs.

✅People & Leadership Skills

Experience leading, motivating and mentoring teams—including depot managers and frontline staff

A natural change agent—comfortable with managing change at pace, influencing stakeholders, and building strong team culture.

Able to model ethical, collaborative, and performance-driven leadership.

✅ Commercial & Financial Acumen

Ability to partner with commercial teams, support client service delivery, and represent operations in client meetings.

Strong grasp of budgeting and financial planning (bottom-up), with a track record of delivering cost control and efficiency gains.

✅ Project & Stakeholder Management

Experienced in delivering operational change initiatives, with strong project management capabilities.

Confident collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, HR, HSE, Facilities, and senior leadership.

✅ HR & Compliance Knowledge

Solid understanding of HR policies, employee relations, and legal compliance in the workplace.

✅ Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

Strong track record ensuring HSE compliance in logistics or depot settings.

Knowledge of UK health & safety legislation, and a commitment to creating a safe, compliant, and well-trained workforce.

✅ Tech & Data Orientation

Comfort with data analysis to drive performance insights and depot improvements.

Familiarity with tech-enabled logistics or automated locker networks is a plus.

✅ Mobility & Flexibility

Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the region to support depot visits, audits, and performance coaching.

The InPost process:

We pride ourselves on our candidate experience. We want to make this as straightforward as possible, for you and for us! We will try our best to get back to you within a few days to let you know if we’d like to take you to the first stage. This normally involves a 20 minute chat with our Talent Team. If we both feel the connection, you’ll then go through another one or two stages, depending on the level of the role.

At InPost, we love uniqueness. Our strength is our people.

We strive to create an open, equal, inclusive environment in which everyone has the opportunity to flourish and be themselves.
