About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive
IT Support / Device Deployment Coordinator
to join a global software business on an initial 3 month contract. This role will play a critical part in delivering the
device refresh programme
across EMEA, ensuring that all contractors transition from BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) to company-issued laptops.
You will be responsible for the
ordering, coordination, and shipping of laptops
to contractors across the UK and wider EMEA region, working closely with local teams to ensure a smooth rollout. This is a hands-on coordination role suited to someone with a background in IT support and strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the end-to-end process of
ordering, configuring, and shipping devices
.
* Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
* Maintain accurate tracking records of orders, shipments, and device allocation.
* Provide light-touch IT support to ensure devices are ready for use (e.g. login setup, basic troubleshooting).
* Act as the point of contact for contractors receiving devices, handling queries and ensuring smooth onboarding.
* Support project reporting and progress tracking to keep stakeholders updated.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in an
IT support, IT coordination, or device management role
.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
* Familiarity with
device lifecycle management
(ordering, asset tracking, shipping).
* Comfortable liaising with vendors, suppliers, and courier services.
* Good communication skills with the ability to support contractors remotely across multiple countries.
* Proactive and solutions-focused, able to manage multiple shipments and deadlines concurrently.
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and basic troubleshooting skills.
