Health and Safety Advisor Location: UK / Flexible (Within travel distance of Coventry area)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent – Monday to Friday
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Make a meaningful impact within a leading green services organisation. Due to internal promotion and ongoing growth, we are seeking a proactive and driven Health and Safety Advisor to support operations across the Midlands and wider UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SHEQ professional to join a fast-paced, multi-site business where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in driving health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across a diverse portfolio of services, including landscaping, grounds maintenance, traffic management, and civil engineering.
Reporting to the Head of SHEQ, you will:
Support operational teams in meeting their legal, regulatory, and SHEQ responsibilities.
Act as the main contact for incident and accident reporting and assist with investigations.
Lead and support the internal audit programme across your region.
Ensure consistency and drive continuous improvement within the Integrated Management System.
Work across multiple contracts and sites, balancing office-based planning with on-site audits and coaching.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
Experience in a similar SHEQ role, ideally working across multiple sites or in the field.
Auditing qualification in Quality, Health & Safety, or Environmental systems.
Self-motivated, flexible, and positive “can-do” attitude.
Strong communication and IT skills.
Desirable:
Experience in landscaping, highways, construction, or environmental services.
Recognised training or coaching qualifications.
