The Role As a Property Services Operative, provide robust and flexible support and undertake a number of duties such as routine maintenance tasks, grounds maintenance, escorting and other general duties in support of the Property Operations on a site. Day-to-day, you will provide support by delivering planned or requested activities in order to effectively deliver a high quality operations service across the MOD Boscombe Down site. Your Responsibilities Will Include To deliver tasks as identified such as installing site signage, painting and decorating and other general services To ensure maintenance standards and quality of work delivered are to the required level To assist in resolving customer issues with outstanding tasks or deliveries To ensure the appropriate movement of consumables & materials across site in the ongoing management of services To ensure the collection of waste items from across site and disposal in the correct receptacles To assist the Grounds Maintenance team ensuring that the site grounds are kept to the required standard Essential Experience Of The Property Services Operative Ability to safely deploy equipment / processes Manual Handling awareness /risk appreciation Previous experience in a similar role Full Driving License Essential Qualifications For The Property Services Operative We value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you. This role is 37 hours per week based at our Boscombe Down site. Boscombe Down MOD Boscombe Down is a unique operational site featuring the longest military runway in the UK. Primarily focusing on providing testing, evaluation and support services for aviation and aerospace systems. Renowned for its extensive flight testing capabilities the site plays a vital role in the UK’s aviation defence contributing to the development, testing and airworthiness of military aircraft enhancing operational readiness and effectiveness.
