Finatal are partnered with an established, PE-backed organization within the SaaS/ Financial Services sector, who are seeking an experienced Interim Carve-Out Financial Controller to oversee and safeguard the financial integrity of a major business separation. This role will play a pivotal role in auditing and validating the carve-out financials, ensuring the client is fully protected throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all financial audit work associated with the carve-out.
- Validate financial information, ensure accurate reporting and preventing any value leakage.
- Serve as the client’s “eyes and ears” throughout the separation, identifying risks and escalating issues early.
- Support transaction workstreams, ensuring carve-out financials are correctly presented.
- Partner with internal teams, auditors, external advisors and PE stakeholders.
- Provide strong technical accounting input and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Strengthen financial controls and ensure the integrity of all carve-out financial outputs.
