Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Foods section, where you'll become a champion of our high-quality products, great value offers, and excellent customer service. We're seeking passionate individuals who take pride in their knowledge of M&S Food products and are excited to share it with our customers. You'll be a brand ambassador who’s ready to recommend our newest Food products. Through remarkable service you'll make sure our customers feel truly valued every time they shop with us.
This job role involves working early mornings and this means we can’t consider applications from anyone under the age of 18. This is to comply with the relevant health and safety legislation and to keep our colleagues safe in the workplace.

Week 1: Wednesday 05:30 - 09:30; Thursday 05:30 - 09:30; Friday 05:30 - 09:30; Saturday 05:00 - 09:00
Week 2: Sunday 7:30 - 11:30; Tuesday 05:30 - 09:30; Thursday 05:30 - 09:30; Friday 05:30 - 09:30

Responsibilities
* Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points
* Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring that shelves are stocked
* Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
* Proactively engage with customers, understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service
* Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services
* utilise digital tools and in-store devices to enhance the customer experience
