What You’ll Do as a Support Worker
No two days are the same — you’ll be providing a mix of practical support, personal care, and emotional encouragement, depending on each person’s individual needs.
* Supporting with daily tasks such as shopping, meal preparation, light housework, and medication reminders
* Providing companionship to promote emotional wellbeing
* Assisting in the kitchen and encouraging involvement in meal planning and preparation
* Planning and participating in fun activities at home and in the community
* Accompanying individuals on day trips and outings
* Supporting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
* Completing accurate documentation and care records
What We’re Looking For
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* A genuine passion for helping others live independently and confidently
* Flexible and adaptable will to go the extra mile to make a positive difference to someones life
* Enthusiastic with excellent communication skills committed to developing positive working relationships
Benefits
* Weekday Days up to £12.35 per hour
* Weekday Evenings up to £13.00 per hour
* Weekend Days up to £13.00 per hour
* Weekend Evenings up to £14.00 per hour
* Bank Holiday (Time and a half)
* Paid business mileage (45p for cars)
* Holiday top-up payments made for regular over time (T&Cs)
* Sleep in rate £80.19 per night
Shifts
* Domiciliary care calls typically between 7am and 10pm
* Supported Living 9:00am – 10.00pm, 24 hour shifts are 9:45am – 10.00pm, sleep in, 7.00am – 10.00am
* Working alternate weekends essential
