Plant Administrator
Location: Denton
Salary: £28,000
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Our client, a leading organisation in the industry, is seeking a dedicated Plant Administrator to join their busy team in Denton on a permanent basis. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about supporting operational excellence, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
* Process daily office operations for the plant team, ensuring smooth workflow.
* Ensure awareness of available stock and respond to requests efficiently.
* Prepare accurate site reports and operational documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
* Organise and maintain both digital and physical filing systems, including confidential and compliance-sensitive documents.
* Assist plant management by preparing senior-level operational documents and reports.
* Process purchase orders in accordance with established company procedures.
* Maintain up-to-date regulatory compliance records, including PAT tests, LOLER certificates, and related documentation.
* Prepare and update materials required for audits and inspections.
* Collaborate closely with the plant team to support ongoing operational needs.
* Handle incoming calls and correspondence professionally, providing excellent communication support.
* Assist team members with various administrative tasks to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Identify areas for administrative process improvements and help implement changes.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Background in construction and/or plant environment preferred; administration experience in similar industry valued.
* Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all information is correct and accurate.
* Team player who contributes positively and works collaboratively.
* Clear and effective communication, both on the phone and in writing.
* Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships.
* Demonstrates punctuality and a strong focus on efficiency.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn bespoke plant and stock management systems.
* Proactive problem solver who initiates resolution of issues.
* Reliable output of work to meet requirements consistently.
* Resilience under pressure and tight deadlines.
