Role overview:
You’ll support pupils who may need additional help managing emotions, behaviour and engagement with learning. Working alongside teachers and pastoral teams, you’ll help create a consistent, supportive environment that helps pupils re-engage with education.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group SEMH support
* Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
* Help pupils build confidence, resilience and positive relationships
* Use de-escalation techniques and consistent routines
* Encourage engagement in lessons and structured activities
* Work closely with staff to implement behaviour support plans
Requirements:
* Experience with SEMH, behaviour support, youth work or similar is ideal
* A resilient, patient and nurturing approach
* Ability to build trust and remain calm under pressure
* Strong teamwork and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
