Please note: We have vacancies for both Full Time (44 hrs per week) and Part Time Care Assistants (22 hrs per week). Currently, we're seeking enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our team at the care home. Our focus is on providing high-quality care, whether it's long-term, short-term, convalescence, respite, or palliative care.
As a Care Assistant under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include supporting the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of residents. This involves assisting with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals. You will deliver compassionate care that respects residents' dignity and individuality, engaging in activities within the care home. Your role may include helping residents with limited mobility, offering emotional support, or caring for those at the end of their life, always prioritizing their well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is essential that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional related training. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
