About the role:
We’re searching for a tenacious, unrelenting researcher, with masterful writing skills, and a penchant for organization. This person should also be acutely aware of the media landscape, including an awareness of the latest news and developing social trends on a day-to-day basis.

Your responsibilities:
We produce newsworthy content on behalf of our clients with then leverage it to earn top-tier media placements and backlinks. In this role, you focus on the ideation, research, and execution of these content strategies for a variety of clients. Your focus will the management of end-to end campaign production, including assigning data collection/analysis, writing, and design to freelancers.
The responsibilities of the Content Strategy Associate include, but are not limited to:
* Frequently ideating Digital PR campaigns based on client goals and media trends
* Conducting topic research using public and paid data sources
* Designing and launching custom surveys for certain content topics
* Distilling large amounts of data into high-level insights and translating them into content
* Produce content briefs and infographic asset outlines with clear instructions for designers and writers
* Collaborating closely with the media relations team on content and outreach strategy, as well as aiding in media requests
* Building and maintain productive and positive working relationships freelance designers, writers, and data experts alike
* Monitoring and responding to client inquires and requests efficiently and accurately
* Joining client meetings and providing regular updates on campaign performance from a content strategy perspective
The ideal candidate would have:
* Background in journalism, writing, content marketing, Digital PR, data analysis, or similar are preferred but not required. We value relevant experience, but we’re also willing to train the right candidate based on soft skills
* A love for data-driven storytelling (experience here would be great too!)
* A well-developed creative mind with the ability to consistently brainstorm novel content ideas
* A prolific writing ability, including the ability to describe complex research in layman’s terms
* Ability to manage multiple projects in various stages of production (research, design, writing) in a fully-remote working environment
Tools
* Working knowledge of Gmail, as well as Google Docs and Sheets
* Preference given to candidates with experience using tools such as Muck Rack, Cision, Semrush, BuzzSumo, Ahrefs, Asana, and others
