Salary: £13.47 to £14.13 per hour, plus £30 for each weekend shift worked

Grade: E

Contract Type: Fixed Term

Fixed Term Contract Duration: 6 months

Vacancy Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire

Milestone House is looking for a Care Professional to join a small team on a fixed term basis for 6 months. Providing quality short breaks for adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. We have recently achieved enhanced Autism Accreditation status. You will need to be committed to providing a high quality of personal care alongside a range of leisure activities focussing on a personalised approach. Full induction and training for the role will be provided You don’t need to have previous experience of working in care, nor do you need qualifications, we would be delighted to work with you to help you become an excellent care worker.

We will give you all the training and support you need. You will be supported by us to make a difference by not only providing personal care to the people we support but supporting them to take part in a wide range of activities, promoting independence along the way. The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our residents are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such.
