Production Administrator
Department: Production
Hours of Work: Flexible but open to 30 to 40 hours, Monday to Friday
Reporting to: Assistant Production Manager
Job Purpose:
The Production Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Assistant Production Manager at Forest Garden in maximising departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
Principal Duties:
Provide administrative support to the Assistant Production Manager, including but not limited to, data entry, filing, and document management.
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of production schedules, staff rosters, and performance metrics.
Aid in coordinating and scheduling meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
Assist in monitoring and managing departmental resources, including office supplies and equipment.
Support the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures by ensuring documentation is organised and readily accessible.
Assist in conducting regular safety checks and reporting any issues to the appropriate person.
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assist in onboarding new colleagues by providing administrative support during the induction process.
Support the Production Manager in tracking and reporting performance against key objectives.
Raising purchase orders via ERP system (NetSuite).
