A market-leading business is seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Branch Manager to take full responsibility for a profitable and well-established site in BS3, Bristol.
Reporting directly into the Regional Director, the successful candidate will manage all day-to-day operations, lead a team of five, and hold full P&L responsibility. This is a key leadership role within the business, ideal for someone who can continue the branch’s strong track record while identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
6. Oversee the entire branch operation, managing a team of five
7. Take full P&L responsibility, driving profitability and efficiency
8. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, working capital and operational targets
9. Maintain high service standards and foster a strong team culture
10. Report to the Regional Director and contribute to wider regional objectiveKey Requirements:
11. Proven experience in a similar Branch Manager or General Manager role
12. Strong understanding of financials, including P&L and budgeting
13. Excellent leadership and team management skills
14. Ability to work autonomously while engaging with regional leadership
15. Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
Interview Process:
16. Two-stage interview with the Regional Director and HR Business Partner
Start Date:
Ideally before the end of September to allow for a structured handover period with the outgoing Branch Manager.
