As our new Internal Sales Executive, you would work within Cookson Industrial, which is a dynamic new division dedicated to providing precious metals for industrial applications. This new initiative is vital to our strategic growth, focusing on expanding our offering beyond the jewellery industry.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Internal Sales Executive role based in Birmingham with the flexibility for some remote work. The Internal Sales Executive will be responsible for supporting the sale of our Industrial Products and Services, Commercial Support Area, which incorporates industrial, dental, and additive manufactured products by:

- Providing administrative support to the Business Development Managers (BDM)
- Producing accurate customer quotations for manufactured and bought-in products
- Taking customer calls
- Order processing and order tracking
- Corresponding with customers and providing order updates
- Support in maintaining quality management systems
- Liaising with other team members, departments, and senior leaders

What you’ll need to bring

- Experience in an administration role
- Some understanding of basic engineering terminology and application
- Able to work confidently on Excel, using simple formulas
- Strong written, communication, and mathematical skills
- Work well as part of a team and be prepared to get involved in a multi-skilled environment
- Customer sales background with quoting and knowledge of precious metal pricing would be an advantage
- Interest in additive manufacturing and applied engineering would be an advantage
