Junior Software Test Engineer
As a Junior Software Test Engineer you will sit within the passionate and highly skilled Engineering team. In this role you will actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Your primary responsibilities will include attending "Three Amigos" meetings to ensure that Jira tickets are fully testable, engaging in ticket refinement sessions, and performing both feature and regression testing prior to release.
What you'll be doing
* Participate in "Three Amigos" meetings to ensure that Jira tickets are clear, concise, and testable.
* Work closely with product owners and developers during ticket refinement sessions to ensure all requirements are understood and test criteria are defined.
* Execute thorough manual and automated testing of new features to ensure they meet acceptance criteria and function as intended.
* Conduct comprehensive regression testing before each release to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected.
* Create and execute well-structured test scenarios along with detailed, step-by-step test cases in Zephyr Scale to validate system functionality, ensure requirement traceability, and maintain high product quality standards.
We need you to:
* Have analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think critically and suggest improvements.
* Possess high levels of attention to detail with the ability to ensure nothing is overlooked during the testing process.
We'd love you to have:
* Substantial experience working with Agile frameworks such as Kanban or Scrum.
* Considerable experience of Jira for managing and tracking bugs and user stories.
* Experience using TestRail or similar test management tools.
* Demonstrated ability in manual testing, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
* Prior experience with Test Automation Frameworks: Prior experience working with established test automation frameworks, preferably Playwright is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in C# or a strong willingness to develop competency in C# for automation scripting.
* ISTQB certification (or equivalent) is preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in software testing principles and best practices.
