Day-to-day of the role:
1. Provide targeted support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.
2. Assist in the delivery of a tailored curriculum designed to foster social, emotional, and academic growth.
3. Create and maintain a supportive, understanding, and safe learning environment.
4. Collaborate with teachers to implement educational activities that cater specifically to SEMH challenges.
5. Offer one-to-one support and small group sessions focusing on emotional well-being and social skills.
6. Actively engage with students to build trust and rapport, encouraging them to express their feelings and manage their emotions effectively.
