About the role
As an Analyst in the team, there are many exciting problems to tackle! You could be analyzing which products need to be reduced in price to minimize waste, or how to automatically supply enough extra burgers and lettuces for barbecues over a hot weekend. You may present on the latest analytics innovations or collaborate with suppliers to benefit the supply chain.
The team's initiatives are based on data-driven insights, collaboration with Tesco colleagues, and partnerships with suppliers. By engaging in data analysis, store visits, and supplier interactions, you'll see tangible improvements benefiting customers, colleagues, and producers.

* Maintain and develop insight reports for operational visibility and improvement.
Minimum requirements
* Strong business acumen and desire to improve operations.
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
* Ability to simplify complex issues and develop practical solutions.
* Effective communication skills for collaboration and engagement.
* Innovative mindset with pragmatic problem-solving abilities.
* Programming skills in SQL and Python; ability to learn quickly if limited experience.
