About the Role
Bradford Children and Families Trust is seeking an experienced Team Manager (TM) to join our Duty & Assessment Team. This is a key leadership role, supporting high-quality practice and ensuring timely and effective responses for children and families at the point of referral and assessment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership and management to a Duty & Assessment social work team
Oversee decision-making, risk management, and quality of assessments
Ensure statutory responsibilities and performance targets are met
Support and develop staff through supervision and guidance
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for childrenWorking Arrangements
Bradford Children and Families Trust operates a hybrid working model, offering flexibility between home and office-based work. However, there will be occasions where attendance at the office is required for specific tasks, meetings, or team days, in line with service needs.
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
