Your new role You’ll join the finance team as a Newly Qualified Accountant, reporting to the Finance Manager. Your responsibilities will include managing the financial reporting for a portfolio of contracts, producing monthly management accounts, overseeing cost accruals and prepayments, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory filings. You’ll also liaise closely with commercial teams, support audits, contribute to business performance reviews, and play a key role in transitioning the finance function toward a more strategic, business-partnering focus. Expect exposure to a wide range of reporting and system improvement initiatives. What you'll need to succeed You must be a qualified accountant with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset. Confidence in data analysis and solid Excel skills will serve you well. Experience with ERP systems or a background in commercial finance or a relevant secondment will be an advantage.
